HOOTERS supports the fundraising event “Yamathon” which will be held in Tokyo on Saturday, Jun 21st.
The Yamathon is a fundraising challenge where teams of three or four people compete to walk or run through Tokyo, starting at Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho, and visiting all 29 stations of the famous JR Yamanote train line in under 12 hours.
100% of registration fee goes to Oxfam Japan, an international charity organization which helps to find lasting solutions to poverty and injustice whilst campaigning for a better world.
Whether a seasoned athlete or simply a keen tourist, The Yamathon has something for everyone.
For those who like to run or trail run, the Yamathon is a perfect place to train and to compete against other runners.
For those who really just want a relaxing stroll, the Yamathon offers you a whistle stop tour of many of Tokyo’s most celebrated sights, and introduces you to many areas which are left largely unexplored by travellers and Tokyo residents alike.
We support this marathon by offering the original labelled water bottles for participants etc.
